Bound Maiden Is Here! (And Dream Maiden Is Coming Fast Behind.)

I'm SO excited to share that BOUND MAIDEN: DAPHNE'S CHASE was released Monday!
It is a strange and wonderful feeling to finally have my Daphne and Apollo out in the world after spending so much time with them.

I especially want to thank all of the ARC readers who took a chance on the book, read it early, and shared their thoughts. Seeing readers understand Daphne and her fierceness has meant more to me than I can say. Plus, a lot of you seem to share my weakness for Apollo's obnoxious charms.
I've been particularly delighted by how many of you seem to have developed a soft spot for Eros... which is very fortunate, because I'm spending quite a lot of time with him now. And boy is he a sexy mess. =)

I fell for Eros while I was writing BOUND MAIDEN, but giving him his own D/s story has been a revelation. The composed, analytical, but deeply passionate Psyche is proving to be exactly the woman he needs, and the woman he was least prepared for, poor guy.

DREAM MAIDEN: PSYCHE'S SURRENDER is actually now a little over 63,000 words, and it's looking as though the finished book will land somewhere around 350 pages. I'm aiming for a FEB 14 launch date because... Cupid.

I'm so excited about it.

One other note for readers who are curious about BOUND MAIDEN but haven't read SUMMER MAIDEN: You absolutely do not need to start with Book 1.

(In a way I'd prefer you didn't.)

The Bacchanalia books exist in the same world and the characters occasionally cross paths, but each romance stands on its own.

SUMMER MAIDEN was originally written as an erotic novella rather than a full-length dark romance, and it is a rather different creature from BOUND MAIDEN. Someday, I'd like to return to Persephone and Aidon and expand their story, giving it more room to become the book I now think it could be.
But Daphne's story is very much its own beginning.

For now, I'm simply enormously grateful that she's finally out in the world, and very grateful to everyone who helped send her there — and you if you're reading this.

And now, I'm off back to Psyche and Eros. They've just gotten themselves into a lot of trouble.
In the (first draft) words of Apollo: "You two seem to have cocked this up spectacularly."
